Despite all the complaining and whining about how this year’s Battle Pass isn’t good enough, it looks like Dota 2’s patrons have made an impressive record once again. The International 2020 prize pool has crossed the $15 million USD mark. It just took 20 days to achieve this result after the release of The International 2020 Battle Pass.

In comparison, it took The International 2019, 24 days to achieve the same mark. In 20 days, The International 9 Battle Pass only managed to raise the prize pool to $14.47 Million.

This already makes the International 10, the 8th largest esports tournament in history.

While many predicted that the International 10 Battle Pass might rake in less than the International 9’s because of the ongoing lockdowns due to which wallets may be tight, it looks like there is no slowing down this year’s Battle Pass. At this rate, it is on track to exceed the previous year’s numbers.
