Lu "Somnus ' M" Yao won the vote for being the most valuable player (MVP) of ESL One Birmingham 2020 - Online. As a result, the PSG.LGD midlaner will receive a Mercedes-Benz car.

The announcement of Somnus?M’s victory was made through Twitter. He is the first Chinese player to win this MVP award.

Rodrigo "Lelis" Santos, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov and Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong were the other contenders for the Mercedes Benz trophy. The previous Mercedes-Benz winner for the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 tournament was Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko.
