Earlier yesterday, Alliance managed to make it to the Grand Finals of the ESL One Birmingham 2020 - Online: Europe & CIS after beating VP.Prodigy 2-0 in the upper bracket finals. 


Nikobaby’s Trashtalks VP.Prodigy


As the scoreline suggests, it was a fairly dominant victory with Alliance’s carry, Nikolay "Nikobaby" Nikolov styling on their opponents and taunted them shortly before Alliance’s victory in the second game.


After the game, in the interview with the ESL Dota 2 crew, Nikobaby stated that he did this for his boy s4 and that he thinks that VP.Prodigy will get knocked out in the lower bracket finals against Team Secret.


“I have something to say to the enemy team. They disrespected my boy s4 and they got slapped in the face. We’re looking to play Team Secret in the Grand Finals.”



VP.Prodigy Captain Save-’s Comments on S4 Last Month


Earlier last month, in an interview with WePlay! VP.Prodigy’s Captain Save- made some unsavoury comments about Alliance and S4. He stated that he did not think it was a big deal for VP.Prodigy to beat Alliance in the WePlay! Pushka League Playoffs since he did not think Alliance was a good team. He also added that Alliance's captain s4 did not understand the meta.




VP.Prodigy will face Team Secret later today at 10:00 PM SGT. The winner of this match will face Alliance in the Grand Finals.
