While many of us have only dreamed of playing against one of the members of TI champions OG, one Filipino student is going to live out that dream. Ateneo de Manila University(ADMU) Student Zedrik “jeff” Dizon recently managed to win the Red Bull R1V1R Runes Philippines tournament and will get to play one of the members of OG as a result.

The player managed to emerge on top from a pool of 128 aspiring competitors by using some unorthodox item builds and some excellent game mechanics. The player is currently ranked 509 in the SEA leaderboards, at the time of writing which showcases that this was no fluke. He is legitimately skilled and deserving of that amazing victory.

In an interview with the Esports Inquirer, jeff states that he has already achieved his goal and that he hopes that he can compete against OG midlaner Topson.

"This was my goal going into the tournament. I would choose Topson because I think we have similar playstyles and he’s my favorite player. It’ll be interesting as well to be able to see what crazy builds he would come up with in Red Bull R1v1r Runes."

The 1v1 match between Topson and jeff is yet to be scheduled. Stay tuned to AFK Gaming for further updates on this matter.
