After Alliance’s surprisal removal of offlaner 33 and captain FATA from their lineup, many were surprised about this sudden roster change. Many assumed that Alliance instigated the kick to make room for Gustav "s4" Magnusson. However, it looks like that wasn’t the case.

Alliance’s CEO Jonathan “Loda” Berg revealed the reasoning behind 33 and FATA’s removal in an interview with Swedish publication EXPRESSEN. He stated:

"The group has been a bit divided for a long time. Not that there have been any major differences, but more that it has been quite clear that they want to work in different ways. It was something we discovered quite early on, but we have worked around it in different ways and changed our training to make it work.

I, who have played myself, see a great deal of importance in having a balance in the team and team dynamics. As a player I think everyone is amazing (Fata & 33), there is nothing to complain about there. But in group dynamics, it doesn't work out to a hundred per cent, so this was most natural."

Loda also clarified that the three remaining players agreed on this roster change. “We never make changes without it being based on the team and what they want.”

Alliance's current roster competing at ESL One LA Online League is:

  • Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov
  • Linus “Limmp” Blomdin
  • Gustav “s4” Magnusson
  • Simon “Handsken” Haag
  • Andreas Per "Xibbe" Ragnemalm (Stand-in)
