That must have been tough to watch if you were a Nigma fan. OG showcased that their previous misfire at the WeSave Charity Play was just a one time misstep.

With Ceb back in their lineup (thanks to MidOne and Topson being stuck in Malaysia), OG showcased a glimpse of their TI9 winning form which showcased that Ceb (although retired) still has what it takes to compete at the highest tier.

They made their grand return to the centrefold by annihilating Nigma in their opening match of the ESL One LA Online League in under 60 minutes. Nigma simply looked flabbergasted across both their games.

OG vs Nigma

Game 1: Nigma were managing to hold their own in the early stages with their superior laning phase, but when SumaiL turned on his switch his Ember Spirit, OG’s lineup just got kill after kill after a kill to easily claim an overwhelming advantage.

Although they had a couple of missteps, they never really lost control of the game and cruised to victory in just over 30 minutes.

Game 2: The second game was even more one-sided with OG pulling out a safelane Chen and just marched down towers. Nigma with an Antimage in their lineup just couldn’t hold against the amount of pressure that OG exerted, and conceded the game in 22 minutes.

OG’s next showing will be against Dendi’s B8 Esports on April 7th at 02:00 AM SGT.
