PSG.LGD is Back in Form after their Latest Roster Change

It looks like PSG.LGD is back! The Chinese team had undergone multiple changes to their roster swapping Wang "Ame" Chunyu with carries like Lai "Ahjit" Jay Son and Li "ASD" Zhiwen. However, it finally looks like they’ve found their footing.

What ended up working? They pushed their offlane player Yang "Chalice"' Shenyi to the carry role and picked up Ren "eLeVeN" Yangwei as their new offlaner.

So their new lineup was:

  • Yang “Chalice”‘ Shenyi
  • Lu “Somnus” Yao
  • Ren “eLeVeN” Yangwei
  • Xu “fy” Linsen
  • Jian Wei “xNova” Yap

With this lineup, they competed in the WeSave! Charity Play competing against Invictus Gaming. IG has been impressive this season securing a 3rd place finish in the first Major and a 4th Place finish in the second Major this season. So this was a true test for LGD Gaming.

Well, they passed it with flying colours. PSG.LGD destroyed Invictus Gaming 2-0 in their series and secured an easy victory and moving to the next round.

Fy and Somnus, in particular, were quite impressive, putting in a stellar showing.
