Arteezy Becomes the Second Player in History to Hit 10k MMR Twice

Evil Geniuses’ Canadian Superstar has gone and done it again. Artour "Arteezy" Babaev became the second Dota 2 player ever to hit 10k MMR Twice earlier today. Earlier in 2019, Abed was the first player to hit 10k MMR twice.

He has managed to climb his way back into the 10k MMR club once again after over three years. Earlier in August 2017, he became only the third player in history to hit the record mark claiming the spot after MidOne and Abed managed to surpass it.

This time, however, it took him a little longer but he still managed to achieve this incredible feat by grinding out pubs. Arteezy has been averaging 7-8 pub matches a day over the past week. He even streamed some of his progress in these games.

The primary carry heroes that Arteezy used to get to 10k MMR were Spectre and Wraith King. He managed to win 14 of his last 17 games to claim the top spot in NA.
