The SEA derby is finally settled. TNC Predator emerged on top after beating Fnatic 2-1 in an elimination match at DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major knocking out their SEA rivals and securing a Top 8 finish.

Fnatic gets knocked out at 12th position, similar to their performance at the MDL Chengdu Major 2019. They currently only have 300 DPC Points as a result. The team really needs to amp it up in the rest of the Majors, to secure their spot at The International 10.

TNC Predator vs Fnatic

Game 1: TNC managed to win the first game on the back of a ridiculous performance from Gabbi’s Slark who dominated the game right from the start picking up first blood and snowballing hard. Backed up by March’s IO and Kpii’s Omniknight, the Filipino carry disintegrated the Fnatic lineup and forced out the GG in 34 minutes.

Game 2: The second game saw Fnatic respond with 23savage’s signature Medusa. The young Thai wonderkid showed us exactly why he was touted as the next great carry emerging from the SEA region, simply dominating the game. He even picked up an aggressive Divine Rapier to close out the game. TNC simply had no answers and ended up conceding the game.

Game 3: The final match of the series saw TNC resort to their tried and tested Huskar pick. Although, Fnatic managed to arrest the momentum of Armel (thanks in part to his accidental death to Roshan), 23savage made a few crucial mistakes blinking into TNC Predator and immediately died allowing the Filipino side to claim the base and the victory.

TNC will now have to fight Na’Vi or Team Liquid in their next matchup of the Lower Bracket.
