EG on the brink of elimination after losing to EE in the DL Season 13 Leipzig Major: NA Qualifiers

This DreamLeague Season 13 Major has provided all of us with some absolute shockers: TNC Predator barely making it thanks to a ‘Typhoon’, Nigma being eliminated from the European Qualifiers and EG being on the brink of elimination after a loss to EE’s Fighting Pandas in the playoffs.

Evil Geniuses vs Fighting Pandas

Game 1: The first game went all according to plan for Evil Geniuses. Abed and Ramzes dominated the game and set the pace, allowing Arteezy to farm his way to victory. EG looked in cruise control throughout the game, outmatching and outpacing Fighting Pandas from the start of the game.

Game 2: The Fighting Pandas struck back with a fury in the second game. The team picked up a Meepo and a Visage to simply outdraft EG. Fly and co. were simply not able to match the aggression of Bryle’s phenomenal Meepo who overwhelmed them in just 20 minutes.

Game 3: The Fighting Pandas were able to out draft Fly and Bulba once again, this time resorting to an Alchemist pick. Although EG was able to keep up in net worth, they simply couldn’t stop the momentum which was on the Pandas’ side. A fantastic teamfight at the 33-minute mark just sealed the fate for EG, who just weren’t able to come back after the huge loss.

Evil Geniuses will now have to beat both Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fighting Pandas to make their way into the Major.
