Finally, it has all come down to this. Only three teams stand. Invictus Gaming, HellRaisers and Chaos Esports are the only teams still with an opportunity to claw themselves to the upcoming MDL Chengdu Major 2019 by winning the Summit 11 Dota 2 Minor.

CIS team jfshfh178 were the only team eliminated yesterday after they failed to make it count in either of their two series played on the day.

Day 3 of The Summit 11.

The first day of the playoffs kicked off with Chaos Esports standing strong against Team jfshfh178 extending their unbeaten run with ease. They simply seemed like they were a level above the CIS squad, and easily secured a 2-0 victory to move on to the Winner Bracket Finals. Invictus Gaming also moved on to The Winner Bracket finals after a 2-0 victory over HellRaisers.

This forced an elimination match between Team jfshfh178 and HellRaisers. The former managed to land a massive blow against the HellRaisers with a convincing victory in Game 1. However, HellRaisers managed to recover with two relatively straightforward victories to eliminate their fellow CIS team from contention.

In the final match of the day, Invictus Gaming secured a place in the Grand Finals after dishing out yet another 2-0 victory to Chaos Esports, ending their winning streak and pushing them down to the Lower Bracket Finals.

The Chinese team really looks like the favourites to claim the trophy at this tournament. They look like the likeliest candidate to claim a place at The MDL Chengdu Major.

The action at The Summit 11 resumes at 10:30 PM IST | 01:00 AM SGT later today/tomorrow. Stay tuned to AFK Gaming for further updates about this tournament.
