It was a long time coming, but TNC Predator managed to pull it off in the clutch. They have become the first SEA Dota 2 team to win an ESL One Championship and a premiere LAN tournament in Europe. They managed to achieve this incredible feat without dropping a single series throughout their entire run.

Park "March" Tae-won was also crowned as the MVP of the tournament and walked away with a cool Mercedes Benz as a result.

TNC Predator vs Gambit Esports

The Filipino Giants started off this series just as they’ve done with most matchups this tournament. With a scintillating 22-minute stomp to grab a 1-0 lead.

However, Gambit Esports struck back with a one-sided stomp of their own. Gpk’s Ember Spirit and dream’s Gyrocopter put up a jaw-dropping showing combining to put up KDAs of 13/0/13 and 6/0/19 respectively to level the series 1-1.

TNC Predator pulled out their Naga Siren strategy in Game 3 to regain control of the series. Their CIS opponents were simply unable to deal with the pressure put out by the TNC team and ended up conceding Game 3 after a botched Roshan fight.

Gambit Esports once again took the fight to TNC Predator, pushing them to the brink by securing yet another overwhelming victory. Fng simply outdrafted and outstrategized the SEA team to push the series to a deciding Game 5.

However, all that work proved to be for nought, as they simply got Alchemisted in Game 5. Gambit Esports simply had no answers for Armel’s overfarmed monster and just rolled over for TNC Predator to take control of the game. Armel finished the game with almost triple the networth of the most farmed enemy core, with 1.2k GPM and carried his team to victory to clinch the championship.

With this victory, TNC Predator has built some serious momentum heading into the WESG: SEA Finals and MDL: Chengdu Major and are looking set to be a dominant force heading into the new season.
