The MDL: Chengdu Major SEA Qualifiers have finally come to a close. Team Adroit managed to defeat Cignal Ultra in the final deciding BO3 to book its spot in the first major of the season, joining Fnatic and TNC Predator as the teams representing SEA.

Team Adroit vs Cignal Ultra

Following its loss to TNC Predator, Team Adroit looked set to bounce back with a victory with a strong draft in Game 1. They managed to come out on top, after the laning stage, winning all 3 lanes and snowballed into the mid-game allowing Natsumi and Mac to rake in the farm on Phantom Lancer and Dazzle respectively to easily secure the win. Bok was also instrumental in them claiming a victory in Game 1, thanks to a spectacular 8/0/19 performance on his Nightstalker.

Game 2 was a relatively similar game with Team Adroit taking control right in the laning phase and never letting it slip. Cignal Ultra simply couldn’t find its foothold in this game and were easily overcome by the rampant Team Adroit lineup, resulting in a 2-0 victory for the Filipino Org.

With this victory, Team Adroit has secured a place in the MDL: Chengdu Major. With the team also set to represent the Philippines in the SEA Games 2019, it looks like it'll be gaining a lot of new fans over the next few months.
