Analyst and manager for Newbee’s TI9 Dota 2 roster Jack ‘KBBQ’ Chen has announced SumaiL’s new stack. The roster includes SumaiL’s brother Yawar and two other players from the TI 9 Newbee Dota 2 roster, CCnC and MSS. The final component of this roster includes SVG who had previously announced his retirement from competitive Dota after playing with Forward Gaming for nearly half a year.

KBBQ also went on to state that he is “expecting the org situation to be fully settled soon.” Given that he was the manger for Newbee’s TI 9 roster, it’s possible that the new team (currently called Quincy Crew) could be playing under the Chinese org itself.

In September, Evil Geniuses announced that it was parting ways with SumaiL and S4 from its Dota 2 roster. The official announcement mentioned that SumaiL would remain under contract and be open to transfer talks. While S4’s whereabouts are yet unknown, rumours that SumaiL would be joining his brother in a new team have now been confirmed. The Quincy Crew roster for the 2019-20 DPC season is as follows:

  • Sumail ‘SumaiL’ Hassan
  • Quinn ‘CCnC’ Callahan
  • Yawar ‘YawaR’ Hassan
  • Arif ‘MSS’ Anwar
  • Avery ‘SVG’ Silverman
