Following days of community uproar about Valve's decisoin to schedule the first qualifier of the Dota Pro Circuit 2019-20 on dates that overlapped with Midas Mode 2.0, a positive change has finally been put into effect. Valve has announced that the qualifiers for the first set of Majors/Minors has updated to take place from 5th to 10th Oct, 2019, exactly one day after the conclusion of Midas Mode 2.0. Through a tweet via the official Dota 2 account, they went on to state that a LAN tournament was originally scheduled in the second week of October which is why they attempted to schedule their qualifiers around it. However, the tournament has since been cancelled.

Jake 'SirActionSlacks' Kanner, the personality responsible for spearheading this tournament on behalf of Moonduck TV stated on Reddit that "literally every team we had pulled out of the tourney in the last 24 hours". With the change in DPC schedule, it's likely that teams will re-join the event.

With the tournament now looking like it's back on track, Moonduck TV has anounced the talent list that will be in attendance at the viewing event in Denver, Colorado.
