As the battle for the Aegis of Champions at TI9 rages on, so does the crackdown on scalpers in Shanghai.

A number of scalpers were arrested by the Shanghai Police officials for selling The International 2019 tickets at ridiculously high prices.

Many reports indicate that TI9 ticket sales were definitely affected by these scalpers.

Although, many state that this crackdown is ultimately detrimental to fans as they can’t purchase tickets to watch TI, it will definitely be better in the long run especially if the International returns to China in the near future.
