One of the most legendary esports organisations in the world, SK Telecom T1 will be making its way into the Dota 2 scene for the 2019-20 DPC season.

The organization, best known for its Korean League of Legends roster featuring mid lane superstar Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok, already has active rosters in Fortnite, PUBG, Apex Legends, Super Smash Brothers and Hearthstone. Earlier yesterday, They announced that they will be adding Dota 2 to that portfolio.

The team’s first signing, veteran offlaner Lee “Forev” Sang-don, indicates that the org is likely looking towards making a Korea-centric roster. Perhaps they’ll pick up the Jinesbrus roster who was inches away from making it to TI9.

While it is surprising to see T1 Entertainment make this announcement during the International, with roster shuffles on the horizon perhaps they can swoop in to sign some premier talent for their new Dota 2 squad.
