TNC Predator have done it. Coming into Day 4, they needed to 2-0 Team Liquid in order to guarantee a spot in the upper brackets. It was a tricky ask, especially with Team Liquid’s recovery on Day 3 and TNC’s affinity towards 1-1 draws over the last few days.

But the Filipino team stepped up and delivered when it mattered the most to book their place in the Upper Brackets of the Main Event.

TNC Predator vs Team Liquid

Game 1: Team Liquid started the game off strong with GH making some great rotations to give them a decent start to the laning stage. TNC Predator, however, managed to make some great rotations to regain the lead and never really looked back. Tims terrorised Miracle’s Storm Spirit all throughout the game, killing him over and over again making delaying his effectiveness.

The Filipinos eventually secured Mega Creeps with their overwhelming net-worth advantage. Team Liquid showed great tenacity by fighting back, winning a couple of fights and held on for quite a while, but TNC Predator managed to close out the game after a successful teamfight.

Game 2: This game was all about TIMS and his rotations. He kicked off the game by giving all of his cores great starts and helping TNC Predator win all of their lanes. The SEA stalwarts just snowballed of this start and easily stomped Team Liquid to secure their series and book a place in the Upper Brackets.

From Group A, TNC Predator will be joined by Newbee, Team Secret and PSG.LGD in the Upper Brackets while Mineski, Alliance, Team Liquid and Keen Gaming have been relegated to the lower brackets. Chaos E.C. were eliminated earlier yesterday.
