Storylines

NASR eSports - Returning Flag Bearers

NASR eSports, who were the Middle East representatives last time around have earned a direct invite yet again and seem to be the most promising candidate out of the eight participating teams.

Last year, NASR had to settle for a second-place finish after losing to MVP PK. With a purpose to lift the trophy this time, the boys will be determined to settle the score and make its way to Shanghai.

 Demise - The Experienced Hunters

This team has some really experienced players under its name. With three players having loads of experience playing in the EU region, the team is a very strong contender to take a slot and head over to Shanghai for the main event.

The Turkish organization has a good combination of firepower, experience and individual prowess to tame the toughest of teams. The addition of a good coach bolsters them all too well, let’s wait and see if they can make their region proud.

Top 5 - Dark Horses

With most organizations and teams from last time not being present in the current iteration, Top 5 seems to be a consistent presence from Kuwait. The team is certainly not the same with only t0tt1 & hoveRR still being a part of the line-up, the intention surely does remain the same.

How much damage these dark horses make is yet to be seen. It will be interesting to see how they match up against the firepower and talent that the other teams bring along.
