  • The new CS:GO update introduced a subscription based service for its users called 'CS:GO 360 Stats'.
  • The update also retained Premier Competitive and Retake game modes from Operation Broken Fang.
  • 'CS:GO 360 Stats' has been priced at $0.99 USD per month and will be showcasing stats for Competitive, Premier, and Wingman game modes.

Valve dropped a huge update for CS:GO yesterday on 3 May 2021, which to the surprise of many included a new subscription service for players called ‘CS:GO 360 Stats’. It is basically just an extension of the ‘Detailed Operation Stats’ from Broken Fang, which also came to an end alongside this update. This subscription add-on is the first of its kind that has been introduced for Counter-Strike, something that Valve has previously tried with Dota 2 and found success. The service has been priced at $0.99 USD (INR 75 approx.), a single purchase lasting for one calendar month, i.e. If you purchase a subscription on the 5th of any month it will expire on the 5th of the following month, regardless of the number of days in between.

Along with this, some other features from Broken Fang that got retained for CS:GO are Premier Competitive and Retake game mode, both of which were quite popular during the Operation’s duration. Let’s take a look at how these 3 Broken Fang features have been adapted to serve CS:GO moving forward.

CS:GO 360 Stats: Complete Details, Features, Pricing

‘CS:GO 360 Stats’ is a one of its kind subscription-based service for Counter-Strike users that like to keep an eye out for how they are performing. This is not something new to CS:GO as third-party websites like Leetify.com, CSGOStats.gg, Scope.GG, and more have existed for a long time now, providing this exact service.

According to the community members, these third-party websites over the years have grown a lot and have been perfected, providing the players exactly what they want. The only downside is that they may not have direct control over the information that they are presenting, which a few in the community were predicting Valve might block going forward.

Apart from this, the websites provide all the statistics for absolutely free while Valve will be charging $0.99 USD per month. The subscription of ‘CS:GO 360 Stats’ will last for exactly one calendar month and will include access to statistics from official Competitive, Premier, and Wingman game modes.

This subscription can be managed in-game by clicking on ‘Manage Subscription’ in the upper right corner of the Stats page itself. Otherwise, you can do it externally through the web as well by following these steps,

  1. Visit the ‘Steam Store’ and log into your ‘Steam Account’.

  2. Click on your ‘Persona’ in the upper right corner, next to your ‘Avatar’, and select 'Account Details'.

  3. Under 'Store Purchase & History’, click on 'Manage Subscriptions'.

From here you can cancel your subscription at any time, but once purchased for a month, that amount becomes non-refundable. Also, remember that statistics from casual, scrimmage, and other game modes will not be presented.

Premier Competitive and Retakes Game Modes

Both the game modes were first introduced to CS:GO along with Operation Broken Fang. The Premier Competitive mode is now available to all players who wish to play the complete pick/ban process as part of competitive matchmaking, including all Active Duty Maps. While Retake game mode will now be available under Wargames, allowing players to practice retaking and pass time when not in a mood to play something serious.

Along with these features, the update introduced 4 new maps, a new weapon case, changes to multiple maps, redesigned chicken models, but the biggest change that took the community by surprise was Train being replaced with Ancient. Well, at least all the Mirage players were jumping around in celebration rushing ‘B-Site’ with a smile on their face!
