Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg might not be at his absolute peak anymore but the Dignitas AWPer is far from over. The 32-year-old Swede took an incredible 4 bullet ace against Evil Geniuses on Inferno in their opening match of Funspark ULTI 2020. The Swedish dominated roster of Dignitas has been clawing its way up the competitive ladder, and f0rest’s improvement has been a huge help to the organization. His recent solo ‘B-Site’ hold against a quickly advancing EG lineup was beyond exceptional, as the GOAT proved to the world once again why he was bestowed with the title in the first place.
f0rest’s insane 4 bullet ace
Funspark ULTI 2020 is finally taking place online after facing a lot of hurdles and delays. The CS:GO tournament which was originally supposed to take place on LAN last year, is now taking place online between North American, European, and CIS based teams.
Dignitas who have been directly invited for the main event is one of the less likely teams to win this tournament. But despite not carrying a lot of belief behind them, Dignitas did a fantastic job of taking down EG in their opening bout with a ‘2-0’ scoreline.
Though f0rest did not have the best outing among the players participating in the tournament, his epic 4 bullet ace against EG was the highlight of the entire best-of-three series. The Swede was once again going viral within the CS:GO community after a long time, giving everyone a resounding flashback as to why he is referred to as the GOAT of Counter-Strike.
From the clip above one can see that holding the ‘B-Site’ alone, f0rest fought off the entire EG lineup who were advancing quickly up ‘Banana’. Dignitas were having a man disadvantage also, but nothing mattered once f0rest started picking them off, especially Michał 'MICHU' Müller and Owen 'oBo' Schlatter, who were both taken down with a single bullet.
In total, f0rest took 5 kills with just 4 bullets, not wasting a single bullet between any of the kills and securing an incredibly tight ace. All the shots fired by him were on target, with one of them rewarding him with 2 kills. A typical f0rest highlight as he was in top form on Inferno.
Dignitas went on to win on Inferno with a ‘16-9’ scoreline, followed by a ‘16-4’ victory on Vertigo. The ‘2-0’ victory helped Dignitas move ahead while EG went down to the lower bracket. The Swede seems to be in top form, but it remains to be seen if his team will go ahead into the tournament or not.
