Vitality had a rough opening series against Complexity yesterday which witnessed Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut’s career-worst performance as he managed to secure just 2 kills on Overpass. Just a day later XTQZZZ decides to give apEX a break as he is apparently going through some personal problems. The sudden announcement has caught the community by surprise including players, talents, and organizations, who were quick to react, some sending their best wishes while a few asked tough questions.

Evil Geniuses rifler Tarik "tarik" Celik was quick to whip out a sarcastic remark saying that “We are only American team bro, no need to have fear,” as Vitality is scheduled to go against them in a few hours.

Richard “shox” Papillon also came forward to tell his captain not to worry about the team and instead focus on his health.

James Banks came forward to say that it was “a good decision from Vitality” to give apEX a break as he deserves a rest after what he “achieved last year with the team”.

Janko "YNk" Paunovic had a few doubts that he wanted an answer to while he wished to see apEX back soon. He found the statement “strange” and was confused by a few things that made little to no sense for him.

Esports organizations like Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and OG CS:GO came forward wishing apEX the best while hoping to see him back on the server soon.

Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, Mohan "launders" Govindasamy, Anders Blume, Epitacio "TACO" de Melo, Fabien 'Neo' Devide, and Maikil "Golden" Selim, were some of the CS:GO talents and players who wished apEX strength going through this rough time.

It is unclear at the moment when apEX will make his way back into the team and return to his position as the captain of Vitality. But right now, Vitality have to try and play without a captain till apEX does not recover properly and return to full health.
