One of the best CS:GO players in the world Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev has been voted as the ‘Best CS:GO Player - Europe FPL 2020’ by other FACEIT Pro League players. This must be a huge relief for the Ukrainian star after he narrowly missed out on the title of ‘Best CS:GO Player in the World - 2020’ for the second year in a row. This was a well-deserved win for s1mple who plays a lot of FPL in his free time, streaming it on his Twitch channel as well where he recently created a personal record for peak viewers.
S1mple named as ‘Best CS:GO Player - Europe FPL 2020’
S1mple was announced as the best European CS:GO player of 2020 by the other FPL players yesterday on 31 January. The Ukrainian can be seen grinding on the platform in his free time and is quite involved with the community over there. He also streams his FPL sessions on Twitch which is thoroughly enjoyed by the CS:GO community and has helped him grow as a CS:GO personality on the platform.
The massively talented player believes that there is always room for improvement and that practice is the only way forward. This is a prime reason why he never skips practice for a long time and constantly keeps grinding CS:GO on FPL, irrespective of him being on a holiday, a player break going on, or the team not participating in a particular tournament.
Last two years have been a bit rough on s1mple as he was named ‘The Second Best CS:GO Player’ of the year, losing to the French AWPer ZywOo in both those instances. But the Ukrainian has not lost heart and is still motivated as ever to become the best in the world both individually and with the team.
S1mple has already kicked off 2021 on the back of multiple powerful performances during BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020, which witnessed Na’Vi make a wonderful comeback from the lower bracket and go on to win the tournament from thereon. He was named as the MVP of the tournament with stats showcasing an overall rating of 1.41 across 14 maps and a K-D differential of 1.41.
