NiKo reveals CS:GO team he had planned to create
While being crowned as the fourth-best CS:GO player in 2020 by HLTV, NiKo came forward to share that towards the end of his time in FaZe Clan he had come up with a plan to create a new CS:GO team which would include the above-mentioned players.
“I think it was during the summer break, the first plan was to create a new team, which was me, nexa, huNter, FalleN and cold. That was our first plan, but then some things couldn't just be done because of contracts.”
The Bosnian rifler was not able to find the necessary motivation to continue with FaZe Clan as nothing seemed to work out for the team. He was so adamant about leaving the organization and starting afresh that even a victory at IEM New York 2020 Online: Europe was not enough to make him change his mind.
“I gave my best to make it work but it was like when you know it doesn't work and you have to move on. I didn't choose to leave immediately, we tried to make it work, but it didn't work out."

He was soon acquired by G2 Esports in what was termed as “One of the biggest signings in CS:GO history”, and though he was a bit sad to leave coldzera behind, the excitement of joining his cousin brother huNter was an opportunity he could not miss out on.
"I was probably a big part of why he [coldzera] joined the team, YNk and I, because he had worked with YNk before and he wanted to work with him again, and he wanted to play with me because we're close friends.”
This goes on to show how desperate NiKo was to leave his previous organization and start afresh in order for his skills to be utilised properly. Despite putting up such incredible figures the Bosnian is still far from achieving big things. Hope this year he goes on to do better with his new team G2 Esports.
