The Steam market sales for last week shows that Cyberpunk 2077 was the most sold game on the platform closely followed by CS:GO’s tenth operation ‘Broken Fang’. Cyberpunk Themed Remake Of CS:GO Map Mirage
A CS:GO map creator who goes by the name of ‘Imtlss’ on Steam recently submitted a remake of the iconic CS:GO map Mirage. This remodel of the popular map is themed on the upcoming video game by CD Projekt ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ which is scheduled to release on 10th December.
The map titled ‘Mirage 2077’ is the same as the old Mirage in design but with a few futuristic looking elements that have been added to make it look like something taken directly out of the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
This version of the map is set at night time with rain pouring down and it looks really pretty, the abundance of light throughout the map via street lights, neon signboards, and huge hoardings over buildings illuminate the map really well so users will have no problem spotting enemies across the map. The map is overall very colorful which makes it vastly different from the dull vibe that Mirage gives off with its drab aesthetics of blue sky and brown everything else.
The change of weather and day time setting was welcomed with open arms by the CS:GO community as none of the present CS:GO maps offer this kind of a backdrop.
High rise building on the periphery of the map adds on to the beauty of this rework as one feels as if they are playing in the middle of a city. Huge CS:GO signboards are scattered through the map, and a few foreign language hoardings give the map a very Tokyo city kind of a feel.
