Astralis has been hyping the release of its new jersey for quite some time now, dropping a few cryptic tweets which a lot of users speculated to be an announcement related to Andreas "Xyp9x" Hojsleth’s return to competitive Counter-Strike.
Earlier today before their ESL Pro League match against Ninjas in Pyjamas, a few Astralis players were seen posting photos of themselves via their Instagram accounts wearing an odd-looking jersey which they actually wore during their match against the Swedes.
Astralis Teases New CS:GO Jersey
The Danish esports organization has long hyped the release of their new CS:GO jersey which is all set to release on 17th September. There is a special countdown section on their website dedicated to this release which was teased once again before and during their match against NiP that took place earlier today.
Before the match, multiple Astralis players were seen donning a weird jersey with a big question mark in its center and the branding of their sponsors ‘hummel’, which kind of looked similar to the old Team Questionmark jersey. They posted an image of themselves on their respective Instagram accounts wearing this jersey and teasing that they might just wear it during the match.
Multiple viewers thought that this might be a hint from Astralis’ side about a sneak-peek of the upcoming jersey as the match was taking place just two days before the official release, but sadly it did not turn out to be anything special. Though Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander in the post-match interview did talk a bit about the upcoming jersey.
The Danes went on to claim their fourth victory in a row as they took down NiP with a clean ‘2-0’ victory. It was an overall dominating performance by them as they won the match up quite comfortably, let’s see if Astralis can win their remaining two matches or not.
