S1mple And Karrigan Voice Their Opinion

The in-game leader of mousesports was the first one to have spoken against the Hard Legion players after the Russian organization in an official statement had said that their “Coach did not inform anyone about the fact that he has an advantage in the game,” and that all the players continued to play fairly.

Karrigan while referring to the encounter between Hard Legion and Na’Vi at ESL One: Road to Rio - CIS said that it was “disgustingly obvious” that Hard Legion players knew about their coach using the spectator bug.

He further asked the question “Shouldn’t there be a punishment for that?” Because the organization on their part had given the verdict that as they have no reason to believe that the players knew about the bug “No sanctions on our part will be applied to the players.”

This was followed by s1mple also tweeting on the topic as he said something in Russian which translates to “Hmm, well, Hard Legion and morons, 100% of the players also knew the info, but I was thinking - how could such noobs beat us.”

The Ukrainian chose some bold words to describe the Hard Legion players who had eliminated Na’Vi from the first Major qualifier directly from the group stage itself.

It was also revealed by Michal Slowinski who is a freelance esports referee and is leading the investigation on this incident that not only MechanoGun but even their assistant coach Erik “AKIMOV” Akimov abused the bug during Malta Vibes 3.

Out of the three coaches caught abusing this bug by ESL, MechanoGun is hands down the worst among them as he has abused this bug in multiple tournaments across several maps, accounting to easily close to a 100 rounds.
