“Might Join 100 Thieves” - S1mple Jokes About Playing With Hiko on Twitter
  • S1mple held a surprise AMA session on Twitter yesterday.
  • While answering a question he joked about joining 100 Thieves so that he could play along with Hiko.
  • This statement became the focus point of the entire AMA session.

One of the best CS:GO players in the world Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session which he posted yesterday on Twitter answered a few interesting questions that fans and other prominent personalities asked him. But one particular answer that raised a few eyebrows observed the 22-year-old Ukrainian state that he might soon join 100 Thieves to play with Spencer "Hiko" Martin.

S1mple Talks About Joining 100 Thieves

The AMA session held by s1mple yesterday witnessed a lot of users flock the star’s Twitter account to ask all sorts of questions and basically just interact with him. What started off with some basic questions like the player’s favorite map, least enjoyable map, favorite city, and other such queries, suddenly turned a bit serious when s1mple answered the question “Favorite teammate of all time?”

While s1mple straight up said that two of his favorite players of all times are Denis "electronic" Sharipov and Spencer "Hiko" Martin, the last part of his answer was what took many by surprise. This is what s1mple’s response to the question was,

“1st electronic (because of time playing and skill ofc), 2nd my bro Hiko (cuz of understanding and skill) might join 100 Thieves with him soon.”

Though s1mple was definitely joking about the last part, just posting it out like that was enough to raise a few eyebrows as popular esports YouTuber Jake Lucky who is the host of ‘Esports Talk’ replied to s1mple expressing his shock, followed by Hiko himself saying “Sasha why you LEAKING!?”

Many others followed suit but no one took the statement seriously, but it is still shrouded in a bit of mystery as s1mple did not provide any further clarification to the statement. He went on answering other questions but despite this answer garnering the most amount of attention, s1mple chose to ignore it.

100 Thieves recently did sign one of the best North American CS:GO players Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella to their VALORANT roster while dropping four previous members in order to start afresh. But it is unlikely that s1mple would be joining the organization as he is currently one of the highest-rated players in competitive Counter-Strike and it does not make sense for him to just leave everything and start afresh in VALORANT whose esports scene is still in its nascent stage.

Na’Vi will be seen in action once again in a couple of days time at the ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online - Europe. Let’s see how s1mple performs in one of the biggest CS:GO events of the year.
