Despite facing a loss in their opening match against Complexity Gaming, OG did not go down easy as the three-game series went down to a decider on Nuke before coming to an end. Despite being down by a score of ‘9-0’ at one point on Nuke, OG fought back hard to claw their way back into the game.

Leading this charge was their captain Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen, who provided the much-needed break for his team as they miserably lost the first nine rounds of the map in a row.

In the 10th round on Nuke, Aleksib provided the big break that his team needed on the back of this insanely genius play, where he knowingly gave a loud sound cue and made Valentin "poizon" Vasilev who was planting the bomb in a race against time situation give up on the plant, by making him think that he was rushing him.

The beauty of this play was that poizon who was facing a 1v2 clutch situation hit the ‘A-Site’ as he took care of Issa “ISSAA” Murad who was holding the site alone, going ahead and planting the C4 with 4 seconds left on the clock.

This is when Aleksib who was not even present on the site where all the action was taking place executed a 9000 IQ tactic by giving away a loud sound cue from the ‘B Site’, poizon hearing the sound thought that Aleksib was charging him and interrupted his plant to go for the kill. But alas Aleksib was nowhere to be found as OG won their first round of the game on the back of a last-second well thought play.

Though OG fought hard, Complexity denied them a victory by winning the map by a ‘16-12’ scoreline. OG who lost the series ‘2-1’ are not knocked out yet as they face Ninjas in Pyjamas tonight in the lower bracket of the tournament.
