[Watch] Coldzera Pulls Off an Insane 'Fake Flash' Play to Clutch the Round for FaZe Clan

It was easy pickings for FaZe Clan yesterday as they defeated Natus Vincere in a convincing manner to make it through to the lower bracket finals where they lost to BIG today. Both s1mple and B1ad3 were quite upset with their team's performance, as even NiKo came forth to say that he expected the match to be more closely contested.

But even in such a one-sided series where both the maps were dominated by FaZe Clan, it was a super smart play by Marcelo "coldzera" David on the 13th round of the second game that stood out to be the highlight of the entire series.

Facing a stiff 3v3 retake situation with both NiKo and coldzera low on health, the Brazilian took a gamble and chucked a smoke grenade as if he was popping a flash. The Na’Vi players defending the ‘A-Site’ on Dust 2 took the bait turning their backs to avoid getting flash, as coldzera swerved into action quickly gunning down both electronic and s1mple.

This was not the first time that the so-called ‘Fake Flash’ play was seen in action, but this was one of the instances where quick thinking and great communication between the team helped achieve something wonderful using an unusual play, which definitely comes from experience rather than practice.
