Thorin and Device Engage in a Heated Argument on Twitter

Once again Duncan "Thorin" Shields and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz were seen throwing jabs at each other on Twitter after the former took an indirect dig at Astralis, following the Danish organization’s loss to mousesports in the quarterfinals of BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Showdown.

Thorin indirectly said that device was a narcissist for wanting praise instead of criticism and memes even after facing a loss. This was clearly intended for device as the Dane had previously told everyone to “adjust their expectations” after noticing high volumes of criticism against Astralis for their poor performance.

Though Thorin did not tag device, the Dane came after him and replied by saying that there is “Nothing narcissistic about it.” He further told Thorin to tag him in his Tweets if he had any problems with him, making fun of him being a lousy ‘esports historian’ for not understanding why Astralis was losing.

This was followed by a harsh reply from Thorin who lashed out at device by calling him a loser and telling him to go call his girlfriend if he wanted to rage out about losing the game.

The public was clearly not happy with Thorin as support for device came in plenty in the form of replies to his tweet. But ignoring them all and this not being enough, Thorin made another tweet against device which was certainly a low blow.

Astralis in recent time has undergone two back-to-back temporary roster changes, which has destabilised the team’s rhythm as they try to achieve cohesive gameplay along with the new members of the team. Now eliminated from BLAST Showdown Europe the team will be seen in action once again on 9th June in the lower bracket of DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe.
