Summit1g Points out an Issue with CS:GO which Might not Actually be one

Issues with CS:GO never seem to end, with the developers rolling out an update earlier today which took care of the long-standing issue with in-game stutters, famous Twitch streamer Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar pointed out another problem with the game, while streaming yesterday.

Playing a match in the FPL alongside Ryan “freakazoid” Abadir, while holding the ‘A-Site’ on Mirage, summit1g playing as CT engaged with an opponent in ‘Palace’. What seemed like a normal exchange between two players suddenly triggered the streamer who literally got up from his chair out of frustration.

Summit1g had lost the exchange after receiving a headshot from a jumping opponent, and this is when he spoke about CS:GO not being consistent with its gameplay mechanics when it came to players jumping and hitting accurate headshots.

He got up from his chair to explain what would actually happen if someone were to try hitting a jumping shot, pointing out how inaccurate his opponent’s aim should have been when firing while jumping, claiming that “It doesn’t make sense, this game.”

He followed up with a Tweet as well in which he specifically stated, “....and you wonder why I’m hyped for Valorant.”

The Accuracy Drops Down Significantly When a Player Fires While Jumping

While this issue is not something that many have spoken about, many a time players do get a lucky headshot when pulling the trigger while jumping. On the other hand, I do think that there is a bit of a problem associated with hitboxes, as quite a few videos do turn up ever so often highlighting players missing their shots despite being spot on with their aim.
