The Ukrainian beast Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev led the charge for Na’Vi against Ninjas in Pyjamas by delivering his best performance of 2020 yet. In the first map against the Swedes, he achieved a rare rating of 2.07 by securing 26 kills and 6 assists while dying just 6 times, helping Na’Vi achieve a dominating ‘16-3’ victory on Mirage.

After defeating NiP on their own map pick Na’Vi proceeded to defeat them on Train as well. The newest recruit for the boys in yellow Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy took charge of the situation and saw Na’Vi through to the Lower Bracket Finals.
It was great to see the young rifler take control of the situation, helping s1mple and co. on their way to the Playoffs. But the real MVP of that match was none other than s1mple, as he crushed the fighting spirit of the Swedes in the first map itself by outperforming them on their own map pick.
It was a tremendous performance by the 22-year-old prodigy who kept his nerves and did not let the loss against Fnatic affect his gameplay, shaping a path of victory for his side and giving them the much-needed momentum.
With this, Na’Vi moves on to face FaZe Clan in yet another do-or-die situation where the winner will make it through to the Playoffs while the other team’s journey comes to a halt in Katowice.
