CS:GO Pros Opting for Healthier Snacks at IEM Katowice 2020

IEM Katowice 2020 started yesterday with a lot of exciting matches taking place over the course of the day, but another interesting thing which was brought to light by Erik Wendel - Senior Lead Player Manager at ESL was the healthy eating habits adopted by a number of teams.

He revealed via a tweet how more teams are taking their players’ diet seriously based on the snacks requested by them, as they mostly consisted of fruits, protein bars, and nuts. He went on to say that “so far teams eating healthy snacks (have) performed well!”

Other prominent members of the participating teams also commented on the same, commending ESL for providing teams with proper nutritious food and a fantastic gym as well.

Filip “SmX” Liljeström - CS:GO Team Manager for Fnatic thanked ESL for providing them with the best, saying that “Always a pleasure attending @ESLCS events from our side!”

There are several pro players who have taken fitness quite seriously in the past, Virtus.pro veteran Jaroslaw “pashaBiceps” Jarzabkowski always used to flaunt his muscles and even promoted fitness, the transformation shown by Marcelo “coldzera” David is also quite spectacular.

And now teams themselves taking an initiative to provide what is best for their players is a great sign to promote good health and a healthier lifestyle.
