In his recently started vlog series on YouTube, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz stated that “I really think ZywOo deserved to be the best player this year” while answering a question that he has been getting a lot from his followers, about him being 'disappointed not being the best player of 2019'.

“He (ZywOo) was amazing, he...I don’t want to say carried his team but he did a little bit, right?

Our teams play totally different kind of CS, so him being that good is just impressive honestly.”

The vlog is basically focussed around Astralis’ first Bootcamp of 2020 which took place in Copenhagen, while dev1ce also talks about his goals for 2020, what Astralis thinks of achieving this year and other personal stuff.

He mentions how he is happy with his current game, being amongst the top five players globally, something he has been a part of since the last 5 years.

“I really want to keep that streak going for this year, so that is a bit of an individual goal for me.”

Talking about Astralis as a whole he says that “It is going to be tough, it is going to be a challenging year being on the top two years in a row as a team.” As he says that the team will be looking out for “which team will pop up, whether it will be Liquid being crazy again or if it is going to be some other team.”

Astralis haven’t kicked off their campaign for 2020 yet, with their first match of the year scheduled to take place against Complexity on 8th February in the on-going BLAST Premier London 2020.
