A day after rumours of Seon-ho “Xeta” Son joining TYLOO started doing the rounds, the speculation has actually turned into reality as the Chinese organization announce Xeta as their permanent fifth.

The 22-year-old AWPer was let go by MVP PK on 1st Jan 2020, following which TYLOO seemed to have picked him up. There were some rumours about TYLOO thinking of signing Andrew “kaze“ Khong but with him being under contract with ViCi Gaming and them qualifying for IEM Katowice 2020, the deal might have fallen off.

Xeta played with MVP PK for 18 months during which the team qualified for several international tournaments like IEM Chicago 2018, IEM Sydney 2019, ESL One Cologne 2019, etc. He is an accomplished AWPer, with a consistent aim and great mechanical skill.

TYLOO has been operating without a permanent AWPer for quite some time now, with Xeta coming on board they will be undergoing big overhaul in terms of their gameplay and strategies. The Chinese organization is taking a break for the Chinese new year, they will pick up once again next month with a bootcamp in Kyiv in order to prepare for the Chinese qualifier of Asia Minor, scheduled to take place on 7th - 8th March.

Let’s see how the move works out for one of the best teams from Asia who are losing Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand to Gen.G Esports.

TYLOO's roster after acquiring Xeta is as follows,

  • HaoWen "somebody" Xu

  • YuLun "Summer" Cai

  • YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng

  • Cheung "Freeman" Wing Hei

  • Seon-ho "Xeta" Son

  • LiKan "KingZ" Luo [Coach]
