The BLAST Pro Series: Global Finals 2019 comes to an end with Astralis walking away as the champions, without dropping a single map on its way to lifting the trophy.

The Danes have maintained a clean sheet by defeating Liquid twice and an unfortunate NiP, on its way to a flawless run at ISA Sports City in Riffa, Bahrain. With this victory Astralis pocket $350,000 in cash prize, while ending the year with a victory.

Astralis - 16
Liquid - 11
Astralis - 16
Liquid - 12

The finals witnessed the two teams go at each other on Inferno followed by Nuke. Astralis was never in an uncomfortable position throughout the entire series. As they took down Liquid a total of four times in the entirety of the tournament.

This is the fourth time in 2019 that the two teams were meeting in the finals of a tournament, with Astralis winning three out of the four times.

Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen went on to secure himself the MVP award, with an overall HLTV rating of 1.27. This is the second MVP title of his career with the first coming at ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals.

Though Astralis were not able to find themselves a trophy at ESL Pro League Season 10 - Finals, where they were knocked out my mousesports in the semifinals. Astralis have secured a fantastic victory in Bahrain, to end the year with a victory, and marking 2019 as their year, despite facing a major setback in the middle of the year.
