The rumours of OG Esports stepping into CS:GO is now a reality as recently Niels “rizc” Topp, a Danish CS:GO commentator via Twitter had pointed out that a company called “OG CS:GO” had been registered on 5th November as a daughter-company of the main OG company.
On further reading, we found out that the company whose information is available on Denmarks public records website, lists the real owners and the directors of the company as Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and Sébastien "Ceb" Debs.
This has turned the rumour about the two-time TI champions competing in professional Counter-Strike into a reality, with the star players N0tail and Ceb themselves getting involved in the project quite actively.
With a lot of experienced CS:GO players still out there waiting for an organization to pick them up and a heavy rotation of players taking place between teams post the Berlin Major, the scene is still quite fresh for OG to step in.
We have already witnessed Evil Geniuses and 100Thieves marking their return to competitive Counter-Strike, with both the teams attaining instant success. With OG also showing up to compete in this packed stack of teams, this season of CS:GO is turning out to be really interesting.
