The second day of IEM Beijing 2019 started off with the second Chinese team TYLOO going down ‘2-0’ against Evil Geniuses to walk out of the tournament without much success. Unlike ViCi Gaming who was able to win a map off ENCE, TYLOO was eliminated without winning a single map.

Mirage
EG - 16
TYLOO - 12
Inferno
EG - 16
TYLOO - 9

The two teams went up against each other on TYLOO’s map pick Mirage in their first game which resulted in EG walking away with a victory. The boys in blue had already gathered a good lead in the first half after which they took a bit of hammering, but were able to bounce back and string four rounds in a row to take the lead.

The second map of the tournament saw the two teams fight it out on Inferno. Similar to the last match EG were able to take a sizable lead playing T-sided, once again TYLOO came back hard in the initial stages of the second half but fizzled out after a few rounds to give way to another EG victory.

With this, the boys in blue walk away to face the loser of FaZe vs Vitality while TYLOO becomes the second team to get eliminated from the tournament.

Let’s see which three teams qualify onto the Playoffs as the rest are eliminated from the competition.
