The last match of the day witnessed ViCi fight hard against ENCE in the Group-A elimination match of IEM Beijing 2019. Though the Chinese squad was able to take a map off Finns, ENCE came back into the match to take the series ‘2-1’, going on to face 100Thieves in the decider faceoff.

ViCi Gaming gave ENCE hell on Inferno with their relentless aggression mixed with fast-paced gameplay. Zhoking took charge of the situation along with Kaze as the two guided their team to their first victory.

ENCE now under pressure, redeemed themselves on Train, a map on which they had witnessed a terrific comeback by 100Thieves earlier in the day. Once again it was not the best performance by the Finns on the map, but they held their nerves and managed to fight off the Chinese squad well enough to take the match into the decider.

The decider on Mirage is where ENCE finally took proper control over the opposition, as they stomped ViCi hard. ENCE gathered a massive lead playing T-sided in the first half and then squeezed their way through in the second half to walk away with back-to-back victories.

With this ViCi Gaming becomes the first team to get eliminated from IEM Beijing 2019 as ENCE prepare themselves to take on 100Thieves yet again in a decider match-up. The victor of that match will move on to the Playoffs while the other walks right out of the tournament.
