Lucid Dream, one of the top-tier teams from Thailand have announced the benching of Phoomphat ‘qqgod’ Phojjanart, the IGL of the team.

The 21-year-old youngster will not be a part of their active line-up mostly due to his depreciating performance in the last few months, the player fell down to an overall rating of 0.90 in August this year, though he seemed to be playing much better in October with a rating of around 1, the player has definitely been suffering individually.

Though Lucid Dream has won tournaments like AIS CS:GO Pro League Season 7 and Taiwan Excellence eSport Cup 2019 - Thailand, they have fell short of achieving victory at multiple important tournaments like ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2019 - Thailand, NEX Invitational 2019, CS.Money Asian Emperor, WESG 2019 - SEA Finals, and Conquerors Insignia 2019: SEA Qualifier, mostly finishing as runners-up.

The team definitely needed to look within and reflect upon their performance, and this change might be their way out of this tough rut. Let’s see who the organization picks up as a replacement and how does it work out for them in the coming tournaments.

The current Lucid Dream roster is as follows,
  • Thotsaphon "cbbk" Suphatthanaphalaphon

  • Kitikawin "PTC" Rattanasukol

  • Jirayu "wannafly" Meesuk

  • Chanawin "JohnOlsen" Nakchain

  • Phoomphat "qqGOD" Phodjanat [Inactive]
