In a video posted to their official YouTube channel, popular North American esports organization 100 Thieves have announced that they have officially signed the former Renegades Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. The video featured owner and CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag alongside the VP of esports and former pro DotA player Jacob “Maelk” Toft-Anderson addressing the CS:GO community.
In August 2019, Nadeshot announced that announced his intentions via a Tweet wherein in mentioned that he was flying to the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 with the goal of signing players to join 100 Thieves.
The now former Renegades roster along with the coach have been successfully transferred to 100T. This roster has had some success in the recent past with a respectable 3rd-4th place finish at the recently concluded Major in Berlin.
In 2017, 100T picked up the Brazilian lineup of Immortals, however controversy plagued the team with Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe being removed from the roster followed by the end of the CS:GO project in its entirety.
