The Russian esports organization, Winstrike, has announced its new roster with the addition of three new Kazakh players which include, Aidyn ‘Krizzen’ Turlybekov, Viktor ‘Lack1’ Boldyrev and Abay ‘Hobbit’ Khasenov. While Krizzen and Lack1 have been signed by Winstrike, Hobbit has been taken from HellRaisers on a loan basis.

No player has been removed from the roster as of yet, but David ‘n0rb3r7’ Danielyan has been transferred to an inactive role within the organization.

Amongst the three selected players, Hobbit has been the best grab by Winstirke, though the player still has to prove his worth before completely transferring to the side, the HellRaiser player who shot to fame after winning the PGL Major Krakow in 2017 along with Gambit is a heavily experienced player with loads of talent.

Krizzen who went inactive from AVANGARs’ roster earlier this year due to health issues was unable to participate with the team in this years major, where they went all the way to the finals of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, finishing as the runners-up of the tournament. The player seems to be making a comeback into the scene along with Winstrike, as another player from Kazakh, Lack1, who is still very new to the competitive scene, joins the squad.

With a complete roster now in place, Winstrike went on to announce Aleksey ‘El1an’ Gusev as the new IGL for the side, along with plans of participating in WESG 2019: Kazakhstan Qualifier, as the team now has three Kazakh players.

Ivan ‘Johnta’ Shevtsov, went on to say that, “He was satisfied with the results of the transfer window.”, along with a few other things about this line-up. He also went on to say that though n0rb3r7 is a great player, for this iteration of the roster, “He was just not a good fit for the game roles.”

The new Winstrike is all ready to step into the local competitive scene as it gets ready to play at the WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 followed by Sector: MostBet Tournament.

The current Winstrike roster is as follows,

  • Aidyn ‘Krizzen’ Turlybekov

  • Viktor ‘Lack1’ Boldyrev

  • Abay ‘Hobbit’ Khasenov

  • Aleksey ‘El1an’ Gusev [IGL]

  • Vladyslav ‘bondik’ Nechyporchuk

  • Ivan ‘Johnta’ Shevtsov [Coach]
