A huge upset has taken place on the second day of the Middle East qualifier for ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2019 as NASR eSports face an overtime defeat against Darkside in the Group - A elimination match-up.

NASR eSports, who were the runners-up of ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2018 have been knocked out of the Middle East qualifier this time around. Widely regarded as the face of Middle-East Counter-Strike, NASR started off their campaign on a great note, defeating Darkside ‘16-6’ on Mirage.

But the team from UAE met their match while going-up against YaLLa Esports in the winner's match-up. They took quite a beating from the Lebanese organization, who qualified for the playoffs sending NASR down to the elimination match-up.

Facing Darkside yet again, NASR was certainly not prepared for what came next. Darkside played like a completely different team, though NASR caught up to them in the second half and took the game into overtime, their defeat was inevitable, as Darkside took the victory ‘19-17’ and booked themselves a slot in the playoffs.
