The Indonesia LAN Finals for eXTREMESLAND 2018 witnessed the grand final take place today at Supreme League in-between XCN & Capcorn.
The two teams faced off against each other in a BO5 series to determine who would carry the hopes of Indonesia onto the Main Event in Shanghai to compete for the $100,000 prize pool.
Match-1
The first match between the 2 sides was played on Nuke with XCN winning the pistol round playing CT-side. They followed it up with 2 more rounds after which Capcorn equalized the score winning 3 rounds themselves. The next 2 rounds were evenly traded after which XCN went on a 7-round spree ending the halftime with a score of ‘11-4’.
Capcorn started off the latter half by winning 3 consecutive rounds but XCN was quick to stop them by taking a round. Capcorn continued with 2 more rounds to their name but were halted again by a round stolen by XCN. Executing 3 perfect sound plays XCN took their last 3 rounds to win the first match ‘16-9’.
Match-2
The second match took place on Inferno with the first 8 rounds being a tie as both the teams won 4 rounds each. XCN changed gears to take 4 rounds in succession as Capcorn tried to catch-up by taking 3 rounds as well, bringing the score to ‘7-8’ at halftime.
The second pistol round went to XCN followed by a round taken by Capcorn. XCN then went on a 4- round streak before coming to a stop by the hands of Capcorn. The next 3 rounds were all won by XCN as they won the second match with a score of ‘16-9’.
Match-3
The third match was a clash on Overpass where XCN playing T-side got off to a great start winning 3 rounds in a row before dropping a round to Capcorn. XCN continued with the same playstyle to win another 4 rounds but Capcorn again took a round to stop their momentum. XCN started playing more aggressively which rewarded them with a hattrick but Capcorn holding a tight defence managed to win 3 rounds bringing the score to ‘10-5’ at halftime.
XCN started well post-halftime to win 3 consecutive rounds as Capcorn struck back taking one for themselves before XCN went all in for the final push winning the last 3 round and ending the third match with a score of
‘16-6’.
With this XCN defeats Capcorn ‘3-0’ in a BO5 series qualifying for ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2018 and representing Indonesia at Shanghai.
