The first qualifier witnessed word.exe go up against Team Kyrgyzstan in the finals after they beat Bishkek Mafia by a series score of ‘2-0’ on Mirage followed by Nuke.

The finals were quite competitive with Team Kyrgyzstan giving a tough time to word.exe who won consecutive matches on Mirage and Inferno with scores of ‘16-11’ and ‘16-14’. Team Kyrgyzstan was great in both the matches but word.exe were able to subdue them with some great clutch plays.

The finals went down to the line with both the teams winning a map each but it was Team Kyrgyzstan who came out on top after a hard-fought third match.

With the conclusion of both the Online Qualifiers, Word.exe will face against Team Kyrgyzstan in the Closed Qualifier, winner of which will proceed onto the WESG 2018 - Central Asia Qualifier where they will be joined by the winners from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan regions.
