The last Indian esports tournament in the action-packed month of October will be the Taiwan Excellence Cup 2018. 8 teams from across India will fight it out in a LAN setting at the Infinity Mall in Mumbai. Signify
The best team the country has ever seen as evidenced by the fact they’ve never lost a single Indian LAN since their inception as well as going to an International LAN and going toe-to-toe with teams like Fnatic and Team Secret. Signify will be the team to beat at TEGC 2018.
ROG TiTans
The team that has come closest to beating Signify in a full BO3. ROG TiTans have tons of momentum behind them as well with a championship win in Dew Arena and a 2nd Place finish in the Fall Season finale. They will be looking to utilize it to bring down the giants.
LXG Esports
The only other team at this event to have beaten Signify, LXG Esports have improved leaps and bounds after their emergence as a major force in the Indian esports circles. A win here would be their crowning achievement in the larger landscape.
Wipeout
This Hyderabadi powerhouse has declined considerably after a promising 2017. But they are still a force to be reckoned with. The calibre of the players they possess just means that we can never really discount them.
The rest of the teams: ATE Gaming, Bloodmist, Unknowns Cartel and Team Revolution have all been on the cusp of breaking into the top tiers of Indian Dota 2. An upset in the first round knockout fixtures would be enough to propel them into the spotlight and focus our attention towards them.
