WG.Unity has officially disbanded, according to their carry player Galvin "Meracle" Kang Jian Wen.
WG.Unity was one of the few SEA teams with an International roster consisting of players from Jordan, Singapore, and at one point Russia. They were one of the best teams in SEA going toe to toe with teams like TNC Pro Team, Mineski and Fnatic. Their biggest achievement was winning the ‘ROG Masters: APAC Qualifiers’ against some of the best SEA teams including TNC Pro Team, Execration and Clutch Gamers.
The team consisted of Feras "Feero" Hroob, Galvin "Meracle" Kang Jian Wen, Mohammad "AfrOmoush" Abu Al Eis, Kim "Velo" Tae-sung, and Kenneth "Flysolo" Coloma.
The disbandment of this team has happened immediately after they were eliminated early from the ROG Masters 2017: The Grand Finals at the hands of Team Empire. Kim "Velo" Tae-sung has already been picked up by Filipino team, Clutch Gamers.
The rest of the WG.Unity squad is now looking for a new home.
