TNC secured a massive win over ViCi Gaming to secure a spot in the Top 6 of the Kuala Lumpur Major and secure 900 DPC Points for themselves in the lower brackets. They will now face the loser of the PSG.LGD vs Team Secret series in the next round.

Here’s how the series between TNC Predator and ViCi Gaming went down.

To start, ViCi Gaming came out looking like their loss against Team Secret was just a mere misstep and like they would continue to carry their lower bracket dominance in this series. They completely controlled every aspect of game one to take an early lead.

After the opening game blowout, TNC Predator returned the favor—even if it wasn’t as clean. Compared to the last game, TNC’s win looked a lot rougher around the edges. It took them 39  minutes to even the series against ViCi Gaming’s unorthodox Lifestealer carry draft. Gabbi played phenomenally well on the Spectre going 15/1/12 carrying his team to victory.

The deciding game took even longer but somehow was much more one-sided in favour of TNC Predator. It took the Filipino organization 52 minutes to get around a rather solid Vici Gaming defence, taking advantage of Papparazi’s mistakes and finally claim a 2-1 series win to move on in the lower bracket.

Tune in to to see if our other SEA rep, Fnatic can pull through when they take on Evil Geniuses in the 2nd and final match of the day.
