Kuku’s return to competitive Dota met with a disastrous start as TNC crashed out of the Dreamleague Season 11 Major qualifiers after a shock loss to WG.Unity.
TNC’s campaign was marred with difficulties right from the start as they finished 3rd in their group after losses against Mineski and DeToNator.
Starting off in the lower brackets, they took an early lead against WG.Unity thanks to Armel’s mid Morphling. However, in game 2 WG.Unity struck back with a Timbersaw and tied up the series. In game 3, TNC completely lost the plot as WG.Unity’s burst heavy lineup made short work of squishy heroes like the Terrorblade on TNC’s side.
Elsewhere PG.BarracX eliminated DeToNator from the competition as well with a 2-1 win in the lower bracket. The upper bracket matches featuring Fnatic vs Lotac and BOOM ID vs Mineski are currently underway.
TNC however, can still make it to the Major via the Minor but it’ll be a long and hard road as they’ll have to qualify via the Regionals and then win in Kiev.
